Master IASTM Through Hands-On Clinical Practice

Take your soft tissue treatment skills to the next level in this intensive 4.5-hour hands-on IASTM lab designed for clinicians and students who want practical experience—not just theory. This session focuses on real clinical application, giving participants the opportunity to learn and practice foundational and advanced Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques under direct guidance.

During the lab, participants will refine instrument handling, stroke mechanics, clinician ergonomics, and regional treatment applications while working through common musculoskeletal conditions seen in daily practice. You will also learn how to integrate IASTM with movement, soft tissue techniques, and other therapeutic modalities to improve patient outcomes.

This interactive session is ideal for physical therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, massage therapists, and healthcare students who want to build confidence and skill in applying IASTM effectively in the clinic.

Seats are limited to ensure personalized instruction and hands-on practice.

Demonstrate proper handling and positioning of IASTM instruments for safe and effective treatment application.

Perform foundational IASTM strokes with appropriate pressure, angle, and tissue engagement.

Perform advanced IASTM strokes for targeted treatment of common musculoskeletal restrictions.

Select appropriate IASTM instruments based on anatomical region, tissue depth, and treatment goal.

Demonstrate proper clinician and patient positioning to optimize treatment mechanics and clinician ergonomics.

Apply IASTM techniques to common clinical regions including extremities, spine, and fascial lines.

Integrate IASTM with movement-based interventions, including basic fascial mobilization and active movement strategies.

Demonstrate appropriate infection control and cross-contamination prevention procedures when using IASTM instruments.

Perform combined treatment approaches, incorporating IASTM with complementary modalities and soft tissue interventions.

Apply appropriate clinical decision-making for selecting IASTM techniques based on tissue presentation and treatment goals.
