This pop-up course provides a comprehensive introduction to joint thrust techniques focused on the cranio-thoracic (CT) junction to the mid-thoracic spine. Participants will learn the anatomy, indications, contraindications, and hands-on application of thrust techniques for enhanced patient outcomes.
The course will cover a variety of techniques, including distraction methods, seated techniques, as well as approaches for both supine and prone positions, along with High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) techniques.
Course Objectives
- Understand the anatomy and biomechanics of the CT junction and mid-thoracic spine.
- Learn the principles and indications for joint thrust techniques.
- Develop practical skills in safely and effectively applying thrust techniques in clinical practice.
- Enhance assessment and treatment strategies for patients with thoracic dysfunction.
Pop-up courses are customizable sessions designed primarily to review previously learned techniques and lectures while also introducing additional taping methods that were not included in the certification course.
In-Person Lab Session (4.5 hours)
- Wear comfortable clothing to allow easy access to the body areas being taped.
- Recommended to clip hair on legs and arms.
- Limited class size to facilitate hands-on learning and personalized attention.
- Certification, CEU and manuals are not included.
