How important is my knowledge of anatomy when taking a module?
Some modules may not require knowledge of anatomy. We encourage all of our providers to have an excellent working knowledge of anatomy when they decide to take a module.
Who can attend AQuire modules?
Anyone, unless otherwise specific modules are for licensed clinician or students of AT, DC, DO, LMT, CMT, MD, OT, OTA, PT, PTA, RN.
How do I register for a module?

Is payment required at the time of registration?
Yes, full payment is required to reserve your seat.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, confirmations of paid registration are sent via email within 24-72 hours of receipt in our office. If you have not received a confirmation within 72 hours, please text/call us at (949) 800-9982 to verify registration.
How soon should I register for a module? How late can I register?
Early registration is highly recommended. Space is limited and registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. However, you can register up to and including the day of the module at the regular registration rate. However space is limited, therefore cannot guarantee a spot.
Who is eligible for the student discount?
Students enrolled who are pursuing their degree in a healthcare field that will become licensed.
This discount will be extended to modules that occur within 3 months of their graduation.
Will I receive Continuing Education Credits/Units/Hours for each module?
Continuing education requirements are subject to change. The licensee is responsible to review board’s regulations and decide if the seminar is acceptable and applicable for continuing education units/hours. You must be present for the entire duration of the module to receive full credit, there is no partial credit given. See Continuing Education
What will I receive at the module?
You will receive a module digital manual in a flash drive and certificate of completion that accompanies the information presented, and any other supplies listed for each module may vary depending on the module. These may be purchased separately at an additional cost, please contact us for more information.
What should I bring?
Bring something to write with and on if you would like to take notes.
What should I wear?
Recommend attire is T-shirt with shorts and sneakers, athletic wear. We require all participants to wear a mask.
Unless your company requires otherwise, this is up to your discretion. We recommend you consider bringing a light sweater/jacket as we cannot control the temperature of the room to accommodate everyone in attendance.
Is lunch provided?
Sometimes, lunch is usually on your own lunch unless noted otherwise. We make every attempt to select facilities that have a restaurant within the property or several nearby for your convenience. Please plan ahead.
Do I have to pay for parking?
It may vary depending on location. Parking is free at KOHPT Lab location, Irvine, CA.
Do I have to stay at the hotel where the module is being held?
I need special accommodations (ADA). Who should I contact?
Accommodations will be made in accordance with the law. If you require ADA accommodations, please contact AQuire at least three weeks before the module date or prior to purchasing any online or distance learning products so that arrangements can be made.

What does “Re-FRESHER” mean and what is included?
The term “Re-FRESHER” is, anyone who has already taken a particular module and would like to retake the module for review. Re-Fresher module included the contact hours and certificate of completion, it it highly recommended.

Are all participants required to wear a mask or face covering?
Yes, all participants and instructors are required to wear a mask, a face-cover during the course. Please ensure your mask covers both your nose and mouth and is secured on your face.
Will there be a max number of participants?
Yes, we will be limiting the number of participants for in-person courses. There will be max number of participants for an in-person course depending on the facility.
Some courses will be a hybrid of lecture on webinar and lab in-person.

- Please wash your hands with soap in the restroom for a minimum of 20 seconds.
- We’ll take each person’s temperature with a no-contact laser thermometer.

IASTM Module Specific FAQs
Who can take IASTM modules?
Healthcare providers that are licensed to work on soft-tissue conditions and injuries, or those pursuing their first degree as a healthcare professional that can become licensed to treat soft-tissue conditions and injuries can take the modules. This includes AT, DC, DO, CMT, LMT, MD, OT, OTA, PT, PTA.
In compliance with CE requirements. AQuire is required to disclose financial or other association with any manufacture, commercial products/supporters. AQuire discloses such association with FibroblasterTM. The instrument options will be used during the course for demonstration and practice purposes and will be offered for purchase. In no way is the sale of the products the primary purpose of this course. The techniques offered during the course are generalized and providers should decide what instrument and treatment is best for each individual patient.
What are the pre-requisites for Certified IASTM Specialist 2.0 module?
Practitioners must have taken Certified IASTM Provider 1.0 certification and or completed Graston, ASTYM, FAKTR, Hawk Grips, or RockBlades, or Smart Tools training that includes a lab, online course do not qualify. We will consider those adequate for you to register for our Certified IASTM Specialist 2.0 module.
Requirements to becoming an Certified IASTM Specialist 2.0?
- Must have achieved or is a student in your last year working towards one or more of the following credentials: PT, PTA, OT, OTA, MD, RN, DO, DC, AT, LMT, and CMT.
- Pass written exam with 80% or higher.
- Pass practical lab exam.
When can I retake the Certified IASTM Specialist 2.0 written exam if I do not pass?
Register for IASTM 2.0 or retake IASTM 1.0 exam online.
Can you email the exam?
We do not email the exam.
What is the re-certification process?
AQuire requires our providers to take module once every 24 months to maintain their status as an Certified IASTM Specialist 2.0. We ask this of our providers so that we know they are staying current on their practice with our modules and at the top of their game. When we refer a patient to a certified IASTM 2.0 Specialist, we can feel comfortable knowing that they have received the proper training. One module must be taken every 24 months. This module will maintain your certification in all previous modules.
How do I list as an online Certified IASTM Specialist?
The Online website Expert Practitioner Listing is a voluntary listing and the fee is included with Certified IASTM Specialist 2.0 certification. Please contact AQuire to set up your Online Practitioner listing. This is a great way to advertise that you are a Certified IASTM 2.0 Specialist.
